Yaoi Wank that might have been posted before
Since I'm having problems with JF for the moment and can't check older entries, I can't know if this has been reported or not...

But then again, it's SO wanky that it DESERVES double posting.

Please stop it, for the sake of Tatsumi's IQ.

The original thread was posted a long time ago, but I hadn't seen this part yet.

Indeed, that was a great speech. (Even though, *cough* I think the OP in that thread is one of the yaoi equivalents of the "OMG tehy are soooooo 2gethr" squealers, that post didn't touch on that. Which is only diplomatic, really.)

AND IT'S THAT ICON AGAIN, that murderous-cold-blooded-psychos-just-need-hugs-but-it's-not-being-sarcastic icon. The I-couldn't-find-a-less-redeemable-pantheon-of-evil-if-I-tried icon. The holy-hell-did-that-just-say-"God Bless"-over-a-guy-who-killed-a-town-full-of-innocents-for-no-reason icon.

IT BURNS.

(and impales, and beheads, and tortures.)

Nonono, the icon way, way at the top of the linked thread - the one with Dilandau and Muraki and Sephiroth and I don't recognize the other guys with this creepy caption about "they who suffer alone, blah blah."

Oh, and Legato. Recognize him. Of course. Can't get a little shtick out of my head after seeing senor_pinata's "Vash's Hand" icon.

*chokes on water*

ExCUSE me? Muraki, a poor victimized sufferer? I... I just... flames... on the side of my face...

I love/hate Muraki as much as the next YnM fangirl, but you know what? Not everyone who suffers childhood trauma feels entitled to take it out on everyone else. [/rant]

I don't know from Sephiroth, but I wouldn't call Dilandau "suffering" so much as "needing extensive psychotherapy."

Sephiroth was treated as a science experiment as a child and when he found out that he came from Jenova, he went insane.

He was proud though. If he suffered, he kept that as secret as he could.

They are in order of appearence:

Harry from Outlaw Star

Vicious from Cowboy BeBop

Farfello from Weiss Kreuz

Dilandau from Escaflowne

Muraki from Yami no Matsuei

Legato from Trigun

Sephiroth from FFVII

And from this list I can honestly say she was on crack when she made that Icon.

Daaaaaaaaaamn.

What gets me is the total assembly. From what I know about them, it's not like there are a few angsty teddybears and a few misunderstood baddies with a serial killer or two for WTF factor. It's the consistency in picking out the most thorough whackjobs in the fandom that gets me.

Impressive.

I think you could make a case for Dilandau and maybe Sephiroth if you tried really, really hard but the rest, yeah I have to agree.

Well, I'd say you could make a case for Vicious, too. He's not exactly a fun guy, but also not quite in the same killing-people-because-I-like-it-kthxbai league as the others.

[info]iczer6

I'm not sure about that. He really had no problem with trying to kill his once best friend and ex lover and happily turned on the Syndicate in order to gain more power.

Not to mention the royal screw job he did on Gren who's main crime was befriending him

Sure he's not on the same kill level as Seph, but he's still a ruthless and cruel individual.

Re:
[info]greekhoop

Well, I'm not saying he's a great guy, but he's also not a complete sadist like the others.

He doesn't seem to take the same delight in killing people as, say, Legato does. I mean... it's his job, and with the exception of Spike, he treats killing people like work.

Also, I think the morality scale in Cowboy Bebop is a little different than in those other anime. Spike and Jet and Faye are all pretty amoral and don't have many qualms about cheating or stealing of killing or generally being little bastards, either.

It's not as though great pangs of conscious drove Spike to leave the Syndicate.

I feel like I'm not making any sense. I shouldn't try to formulate coherent thoughts on three hours' sleep. In conclusion, let me just say this:

GREN RULES! WHOO! GREN! I LOVE YOU!
