Okay now I'm just confused. What the hell is her problem? She seems to be complaining about people telling her not to flaunt her age, and while I really don't agree with this, it probably would make her life a little easier. I mean unless she wants to make porn legal for 15 year olds, which just isn't gonna happen, I'm not really sure what her options are other than wait till she's 18 or not blab about her age. Man, I've been into yaoi and reading smut since I was 11. Somehow, I think that's even younger than is usually morally acceptable, much less legally acceptable. However, not once was I stupid enough to actually mention my age. I've always thought the whole 18 and over thing was crap (still do), but the puritanical U.S. of A. was never going to change that for little 'ol me and I knew it. I always thought that part of sneaking around and doing things you weren't supposed to as a teen, was that you were sneaky and didn't tell anyone but your close personal friends (who usually were the same age you were). You know, doing something you shouldn't be doing, doing it anyway and getting away with it because nobody was the wiser. So this need to announce to the community that you are 14, and thereby blowing your cover for sneakiness...well...sounds like bragging rights to me. But instead of the members of the community giggling behind their hands and patting this girl on the back for being Oh-So-Clever and So-Terribly-Mature for her age, they balked, started waving 'liability' around and she got herself banned. Actually, I don't consider that to be too much of a shocker - plenty of girls I know were reading Harlequin romance novels (and skipping straight to the smutty bits, of course) at that age, or even a little bit before. Plus, if I remember those basic biology courses from high school and colege right, 11's more or less the "average" age for a girl to start puberty (I think some of the more recent studies out there say they're starting even younger nowadays, though?), so it'd only be natural for them to be curious.
