No more XF Haven?
So the Haven's domain name has expired. Some refugees are bemoaning their fate I mean wanking about the loss of their home here

They are even talking about raising money to pay for a the domain name and a server. Meanwhile they can't even raise enough to pay for a lame ad in the Hollywood Reporter to beg FOX for a second movie.

If I had more time and talent I'd love to buy the domain and set up a website spoofing all of XF fandom.

Or maybe I'll let COW and her pals know about it and let them take over. That would be all sorts of fun.

Also as an update to an older FX wank, it seems that Hester found us!

	Ahhh . . . nobody's going to get the domain name for a long time. It's being held by NetSol, and will probably be held indefinitely. That's the real problem. They'll definitely demand a 'hostage fee' as punishment for letting it expire. Network Solutions is wank itself. (Reply to this)

A-hahahahahahaha! I love when they get all flustery and frightened when the server goes down, or in this case, they lose their site. Because golly, that's NEVER happened to the Haven before, and it is JUST SO HARD to put together another messageboard!

*rolls eyes*

Although, I am sad because I just got a Haven account, and I've been dying to jump in on the stupidest threads and knock some heads together. But, dang, I am way too lazy to go following them around from "emergency board" to "emergency board". I'll just wait 'til they find a regular home again.

	Just an FYI, and not to get all wanky here, that ad crap is only one folder at Haven, the one where the super weirdos hang out. Plenty o' normal folks are at Haven; they just never stray beyond the fic folders. Because it's skeery out there. Also, Haven is back up. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	Ah, Hester. Just the name brings back so many lovely memories of my days on atxc. Hester's hysterical pronouncements that Chris Carter would get us all just as soon as he knew what sort of EVOL things we were doing to his characters.
