I think the best comment was the one that had the poster bitching about someone's LJ and them mentioning that the person they were bitching about owed them money and a Game Boy or something, "but that was not important because they were only talking about the LJ's and not the personal issues" (not exact quote but essntially what poster said)

Cool people get anti-groupies. Shadesong is very cool so she gets many people who hate her.

Sorry if that made little sense, it's hard to explain the mind of the insane.

There's one bit in that mess of a comment page talking about how Shade's haters take screenshots of her journal so they can look for 'revisionist history'. Sadly, the person who posted that did not break down over how pathetic it is to obsess over someone like that sooooooo much

It's just wrong to admit that you actually managed to read every single comment in order to know how many times you were nominated. But earning the hatred of random anoms too cowardly to sign in with their LJ name? It speaks well of your quality. The best measure of a wo/man is sometimes the nature of their enemies.

I don't know if I was disappointed or relieved not be to be there, because through chance, someone I know must be there... and some people hate me to an extent I find bewildering. I've been called everything from "a very, very scary woman" to an arch-manipulator who makes vulnerable young wmen fall in love with me, in order to make them feel insecure and unhappy while exploiting them to write me fics and things.

Surely that means I'm someone to avoid...

It then turns into a miniwank about what LJ is for.

My take is that if your journal is personal you need to take precautions, because last I checked leaving something out for the world to see doesn't seem very 'personal' to me.

Ironically, it is turning out to be a truely useful list of people to avoid on LJ, just not in the way the OP and commenters are expecting....

Just avoid everybody who comments. Voila, easy list of people who are far to eager to sharpen their knives and carry over grudges to any forum available for it.

It's one gigantic hate buffet! This is entertaining. The replies as well as the bashing. You've got the requisite huffy furry outrage ("I'm hot so I don't suck!"), people preening sarcastically over themselves, just... wow.

It's a huge troll, it brings out the worst in people, and the worst in people is funny. At least when I'm in this let's-see-some-carnage mood.

Not particularly bashing the people posted; I don't even know 99% of them. And hell, if I were anyone else I'd avoid my LJ. It's just the froth and flying rage that people get into over essentially nothing. It's great. Also, wondering if people are bashing themselves anonymously just to get more readership, because the idea amuses me.

I went through and did a quick CTRL-F search for my name, and then realized I'd have to run through, like, twenty pages, and even then there are nested comments.

I think I'll just assume nobody hates me. Takes a lot less energy that way.
