wank in the making
Remember that wank about a girl telling the phelps twins (who play the Weasley twins in the Potter movies) about twincest?

Hmm. This one's kinda related.

Last night, Dominic Monaghan was on LoveLine.

A chat of girls, known as 'FanDOM chat', or 'Sexula' decided to call up, and get Dom to say 'hi' to Sexula. (From my understanding, the purpose of this is to perv over Dominic and share RPS)

Phone Post link of the shoutout

Fangirls squee, Dom subtly mocks ("That's just the peak of your lifetime, right?"), and the seeds of wank are planted.

The evidence:
-A Sexula member speaks up against the call!
-Another Sexula member agrees! And the fans are "torn"!
-Yet another member doesn't understand teh pane! And sheds a tear! And people go 'wtf'?
-A shockingly intelligent post about why this was Vewy, Vewy Bad!

I'd have to say my absolute favourite part though, is this little gem:
See... Now, I'm kind of concerned. No doubt people will be Google-ing us up the ass and wanting to join for the sole fact that Dom said 'hi' to us and joining the comm would allow them to say "OMGI'MASEXULAGIRL!!"

(Ed. note: Why, yes. That is my goal in life.)

That's not only a stupid reason to join, but also a wrong reason. I, personally, like the relatively close-knit group that we have, and I hope that doesn't change. If we just start letting people join because they found us on Google, that exploits us a bit, doesn't it? I just feel that something like that CANNOT be good for our fanDOM.

Also... Whilst chatting in fanDOM chat last night, someone (I forget who... MY BAD) brought up a good idea: to have a screening of "Sexula Applicants", of sorts. I'm not sure how that works. Liek, I think our comm should be solely membership-only, ALA image_direct. The mods would be in charge of letting people in, without abusing their power, of course. But, someone said that they need to be part of the actual fanDOM chat in order to be considered. I think that's a GREAT idea. Like, "omg you need to be a part of fanDOM chat for at least a week to be able to join!!" LOL... Some stupid ass shit like that.

They're like the disciples, in a way.

Pretty small right now, but this could be an interesting one.
