Speaking of UPN, when Buffy moved, I read an article stating that UPN was contractually obligated to pick up Angel if the WB cancelled it before it reached its 100th episode. Those WB bastards were just waiting around for this so that UPN wouldn't get the show! *immerses herself in conspiracies*

I'm going to mourn now. They ruin my shows and now I have nothing.

I didn't know that. Gah! Some pathetic, hopeful part of me wishes UPN will pick it up anyway. There's got to be some behind the scenes crap that brought this about - weren't the ratings up? Wasn't this one of the WB's better shows, numbers-wise?

Other than Angel (now cancelled) and Frasier, which I stopped bothering to watch when the network played pinball with the timeslot one too many times, I don't watch network TV. What doesn't suck, gets cancelled.

Okay, enough with the ~~wankfest~~ bitter fit.

Er... you mean get rid of Spike as in get rid of the major reason they did renew the series for a fifth season, and move to UPN as in what Buffy did just before starting to suck like Miko Mido with a vacuum hose rammed up her butt? o.O

With Angel, I think there's still some potential to move it to the big screen. They've always been saying they're going to do a ginormous apocalyptic battle and that after Angel won it, if he won it (though now it might be Spike), he'd regain his humanity. That's movie material, to me, moreso than any of the crap Buffy ever came up with. Hopefully instead of trying to cram all of that into what's left of this season, they'll go for the movie angle.

Meh. Personally, I think this season of Angel has sucked horribly, so I'm just glad they're ending it before it gets any worse (see Buffy season 6 and 7 *cringes*). Still, I understand that some people liked this season, and are going to be upset that it's canceled.

However, am I the only one who's really annoyed by those anti-WB icons popping up everywhere? For those who haven't seen them, they have the WB icon and say things like "fucking bastards" and "sux donkey dick". I'm just cringing when I see those. I get that you're upset, but please don't go around throwing hissy fits about how omg teh WB is teh evol!1! It's really just makes you look stupid.
