Holding out for a Hero?
Dear god, it's finally happened. The *SMALLEST* fandom I can think of has been wanked.

"My Hero" is a Britcom about a superhero living on Earth, played by Ardal O'Hanlon. Some find it funny.

Others, as we learn, do not.

the My Hero comm on LiveJournal has got trollers.

Bear in mind this comm has about six members, and is posted in maybe once every two/three *MONTHS*.

Moronicabbage posts about how O'Hanlan is, and I quote, "a cunt".

Then just a few hours later, Belly_Belly posts saying that O'Hanlan should be ashamed of himself.

*sigh*

Wait...is that the show where the guy's an alien who can smell disasters, and he falls in love with a human girl, and their baby can talk and fly and such as soon as it's born??

If so...I love that show.

Bwahaha! Ardal O'Hanlon? Eh, I have mixed feelings. Stand up routine = good; book = uninteresting; Whose Line appearance = pathetic.

I'm presuming the British version of Whose Line. Although that would have been interesting to see him on the American version.

Hmm, you're in Boston? I'm not sure if My Hero gets shown there, but it's on PBS Saturday nights here in Portland.

Admittedly I think it's just because I have some sort of weird fondness for the lead. This gets me mocked frequently in Honor Harrington-related fantasy casting threads, but I don't mind. XD

Wow, a My Hero fandom. Coupling fandom, and Young Ones fandom, makes sense to me. But this ... does this mean there's also a Going For A Song fandom and a Antique Roadshow fandom? Because those are my favorite BBC shows. *goes to look*
