I wish you would have at least chosen the superior FFVII

But he SPEAKS THE TRUTH! *weeeeeep* !__!

This guy is one of the Onion's funnier, though. Hehe. Made me laugh.

If I weren't so very, very gay, I'd want to marry him and have his geeky children.

The bit about the Tracy Scoggins workout video was inspired.

Eh. It would have been better if the geekiness of the Elvish in the article had been more extensive, so as to befuddle even a menial student of Quenya like myself. I mean, really, using the greeting elen sila lumenn' omentielvo as his example of mastery of Quenya is elementary and fruitless, and a clear mark that this guy really isn't that well-versed in the Professor's life work. Any gibbon could tell you that the phrase means "A star shines upon the hour of our greeting", and is so easily found in canon as to be laughable. I turn my nose up at this poser and challenge any and all real students of the Elven Tongues to write angry letters -- in Quenya or Sindarin, according to your preference -- to him and insist that he do better research before posting this mediocre satire. I need good, geeky satire, dammit!

And another thing. In last season's "Smashed" on Buffy, the writers are missing the fundamental point that a Boba Fett out of his packaging is worth a minute fraction of a Boba Fett in his packaging, and exposing him to the elements and -- horrors! -- snapping him off his base reduces him to far below the "mint condition" the supposed Star Wars fanatics claim.
