Wank continues in the X-files fandom
And just in time for Tea Leoni's birthday too! (hey I head it on the radio this morning on the way to work).

The DDfans spot some Snogger activity And go out on a tangent about whether or not Leoni had plastic surgery and how the Snoggers are dilusional for thinking this.

And what "FACT" would she give to support her contention that TL has had all this surgery. That's it. There are no facts to support their contention. Just their suppositions and attempts to use two pictures from the same photo shoot to prove that she's had surgery. And they talk about us. Sheesh.

Meanwhile over at the Snogger board, yet another thread is started based on a post at the Haven. Leoni's Insecurity within her marriage is questionned. This leads to a pot shot by another poster...who then gets accused of being COW form the DDboards.

Suddenly mad cow gets bought into the picture.

"Mad Cow Disease is the commonly used name for Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE), a slowly progressive, degenerative, fatal disease affecting the central nervous system of adult cattle.

Call me old-fashioned, but I find it disturbing when I see a bunch of fans standing around, hoping like hell that their idol's marriage will fail.

I mean-- if you love someone, wouldn't you want the best for them? The best as in "a healthy relationship with their wife," not an upcoming divorce?

And much of their talk about DD's and Tea Leoni's relationship seems like wishful thinking. Especially considering how much they seem to hate Tea Leoni. Hell, half of these fangirlies look like their .5 seconds away from constructing a voodoo doll of her, and sticking pins into it.

You have not seen "omg pls divorce!" wank until you have stepped into the Rammstein fandom. Really. (Quick background. 6 Germans. 1 band. Guitarist marries American actress. Fans whimper, and continue whimpering for six odd years.)

I think it's some sort of disease that spreads through music fandoms. Emo, industrial, American, German... beware. Your favorite band may be next.

Fortunately, I couldn't give a crap about music, and comic fandoms have always been rife with insanity, so it's easy to ignore.

Old and intermittent... it's a sort of a constant, lingering stroking motion, now.

You and your "being logical." ;) Tell that to Ewan McGregor's wife, Jude Law's ex-wife, any female ever connected to anyone in the LOTR cast...

The market in voodoo dolls has to be rising these days; I should buy stock.

We here at fandom_wank would like to thank you for properly closing your fangirl tags!

Because, you know, if you don't, you'll get fangirl all over the rest of the page...

It just gets better and better doesn't it? I think this is the Snogger thread you were going for. Yes?

Like I said before my fandom is filled with either the bitter or the crazy. And I'm starting to thing the crazy out number the bitter.

Have you guys check out the Snoggers guidelines?

  • 5. No bashing. Whether it be Tea or Tea supporters. We don't like to be talked about and they prolly don't either. (let's at least keep it to a minimum).

Well at least the Bovines have a 'free speech' or 'wanking bashing free for all' policy and stick by it.

    Gotta give 'em that.

Exactly. If you're going to bash, then bash away at all, not just one or two.

They've mentioned Mad Cow; all we need to do now is wait for the animal rights crowd to show up and start preaching about the evils of meat enlightening the rest of the readership.

And if history is anything to go by, it won't take them long to whip themselves into a frenzy once they get going.
