I want to see the shipper wars between Jesus/Judas and Jesus/Peter shippers. And the rareslashers, bringing much needed Pilatus/Matthew shippiness.

I don't even plan to see that film, but the fandom will sure prove entertaining.

My friends and I JOKE about this stuff to piss off Fundies, but we don't mean it. (As in, "What did Jesus REALLY mean by 'The Second Coming'?" or "Jesus had to have been gay, he had 12 men following him everywhere he went!")

We don't have OTP's or anything. And I think it's very disrespectful to write actual historical-figure slash, even if the historical figure in question was gay or bi. (i.e., I can't bring myself to write anything for the animes Reign or Rurôni Kenshin since the charas were based on historical figures.)

Really? That's interesting. I myself am a little uncomfortable with current celebrity slash, but I love dipping into some Lafayette/Washington or Shakespeare/Marlowe. It might be because historical figures have practically become fictional, because of all the legends and myths that have grown up around them.
