"You seem to criticise a lot" Why? Why do you even bother to pay attention if it is that bad? Why can't you leave it alone without any judgment? You should ask yourself that questions more often. Actually, the answer is very simple: You wanted to see your fav. characters (for instance) in new, unknown situations, those which would thrill you. Which would make you happy or even fullfill your desires ( slash) Am I not right? And then you are suddenly disappointed. BAM! since you don't get what you’ve been expecting. This leads to confusion and this to annoyance, even to anger. She also claims that: You forget that the majority of fanfiction writers are underaged, barely 12....15/16 years old. Most of the commenters try to point out that a LJ comm called fanficrants is going to have quite a bit of, well, ranting about fanfic. There's also delicious numbers of personally offended posters pointing out that, well, they they were simply brilliant writers and members of fandom at twelve, so don't be so mean about twelve year olds! (Serious giggles at smirnoffmule's contribution to that thread, by the way.) Makes me weep for this comm, in fact, wilfully depriving itself of the input of preteen children... To me, though, it doesn't become true wank until the OP shows up again, seeming remarkably unprepared for the community not having read the post, seen the light and amended their ways: I better should have left some things out then, eh? Stupid me. Anyway, you are right. Of course you are. How could you not? It's all about arguing and dis/agreement and I see my selfish pouting now. Ah, passive aggression, how do I love thee! With a passion almost as great as that I hold for Terribly Gifted, Precociously Mature Twelve Year Olds. (Note: I don't want any of this to be taken as mocking the OP's English skills, as I fully realise that communicating in a second language must be a right pain in the whatsit.)
