Passion wank
Woah, surprising, huh? I friended with_gusto after seeing the wank that [info]karmakaze posted earlier. Anyway in this morning's post, he/she rather facetiously tells everyone that they should go see "Passion of Christ". The conversation is low key until someone says she's boycotting the movie because of those stupid LJ ads. Of course the conversation drifts to death and lighting and everything's cool until a believer shows up to blame the lightning on Satan. Then we strike paydirt, as the participants argue as to whether crucifixion is the worst way to die EVAR.

I add my two teaspoons there at the end, so it might ought to go in [info]i_wank. However I hate the thought that those of you who haven't joined that community yet *cough*hint*cough* might miss out on the fun.

is it against the rules, particularily for a lowly anonymous poster, to mention that something about your devil!viggo icon gives me multiple, screaming orgasms? i tell you, it's hard to get up from my chair and walk away on a day when you've posted several times, my legs are so weak.

*skulks away again*

He is teh Sexxorz, isn't he? I did the quote but someone else made the icon for me. I forgot who it was because being evil is bad for my memory.

*sighs*

The Satan!Viggo on the right of that icon reminds me quite strongly of my ex-boyfriend. I don't know whether to be happy about that or mildly annoyed.

Could it be...SATAN?

I always thought lightning strikes came from God when S/He was displeased with your actions. The "May God strike me dead if I'm lying" kind of thing.

Also, as one posted pointed out, lightning comes from the sky, which is where God is viewed as existing. Hell is supposedly down below.

Right, that's it. I'm totally hanging out for the moment the earth rips open and Satan hurls lightning at me.

Maybe it was Zeus.

So Satan's in the lightning business now? I thought there was an agreement -- Zeus gets the lightning, Satan takes the fire and brimstone. There's going to hell to p--wait, never mind.

(On a related note, someone at my college sent in a letter to the editorial paper telling everybody to go see "The Passion of Christ" because it is God's way of bearing witness to us and there is no reason to live in sin ever and Jesus will soon be returning. Now, maybe this is just because I'm a heathen Jew and all, but personally I think if God was trying to bear witness to us, He'd do it through someone other than Mel Gibson.)

What really got me hot (and not in a good way) was that I knew it was going to turn into a contest about who has had the most horrific death... and that's just what happened.

The death I'd personally strive to avoid at all costs is possibly the live-rat-up-the-ass-and-lets-wait-until-it-eats-its-way-out. Not that I've given this thing much thought. At all.

And besides, crucifixion makes me think of Monty Python. And no death can be that bad if I'm sniggering my way through it.

no. wait. i absolutely do not, under any circumstances, want to know.

I didn't; humanity is a creative, sadistic bitch

See, when you say that you don't want to know my brain automatically starts blabbing off. We need a safeword. Something totally unrelated to the matter at hand. (I was actually going to suggest bunnies. I managed to restrain myself.)

Also, EEEHHH ICON!

*snerk* a safeword. excellent.

wonderbread, maybe? just bland and colourless enough to cleanse the mental palette of any unfortunate images. those people on the atkins diet can use... celery.

also, i'd better start using a new icon - it's getting so tiresome wiping the fangirl off that one ;D
