	Darren Hayes is still making CDs? Correct me if I'm wrong, but if Schooly is a DJ, isn't it his job to talk about (and create hype for) Darren Hayes' CD, regardless of how many mean e-mails he gets? I wish I had a job that I could just not do whenever people were being mean. Am I just misunderstanding, and he's really just an internet-DJ or something? (Reply to this)(Thread)

Also-- just to add to that... if DJ Schooly isn't doing his job of promoting the Hayes CD, why can't Darren Hayes just find someone else who will?

I can understand why Schooly might feel angry and harassed right now, but he's acting like a prissy bitch. This is show business, sweetheart-- and people will bitch and you all the time. Now quite yer complaning and go do your job.

Yep, Darren's on his 2nd CD.

Schooly was initially doing it as a favour - Darren and Capital FM are close, and besides Darren and Sony no one else had any info about the CD. Not even a definite release date (which is still unknown.)

He's a professional DJ, yes. But it wasn't really his "job" to release the CD info - as in it wasn't really REQUIRED of him; it was his special treat. But the threats got to him, I guess.

Well... I'm talking from experience here and I say that Darren Hayes may be a lovely guy, but his fans can suck sometimes. There was one incident accounted by a fan. Once Darren invited Leonie Messer's boyfriend's band (lol... quite a mouthful, eh?) to perform during the intermission of his own concert. Guess what? Some of his fans told them to "fuck off" and basically booed them off the stage. I don't know what the band was called (frankly, who cares?), but I swear at times like this I'm very ashamed of being called a Darren Hayes fan.

In other news... Darren's coming out with another album? Cool! I was a little disappointed with the 1st solo album because there was very little of the acoustic music that I so loved. Much of the Daniel Jones touch is gone and I guess I missed that. On the other hand... i loved Insatiable... I think that's the best song in the world! [/gushing praise]

Specificus! Yeah, there's still that anti-Specificus sentiment, and then there are people like you who see that that sentiment is unnecessary.

According to Darren, the album's going to be a lot more darker and deeper because he's writing about himself more. (Or something like that, forgive me my mind is fuzzy) If you're familiar with the song "Mine"...kinda like that.

	I'm a member of one of The USA street teams..Pennsylvania to be exact. not much happening lately. Someone from the BBS actually invited me when i had been a membver of the BBS for about a month or two.lol I always miss the wank on message boards, i'm more of a "who did that happen where the hell was i" sort of observer. Anywho... I've got all of Darren's albums from the time he was in Savage Garden to the time he became a solo artist. He's really talented. Too bad he doens't really have that much exposure.

"Mine" was fantastic... dark and broody. If he were to write more stuff like that, you've got a very happy girl here :D

too little info on an unreleased album? were they perhaps hoping that the dj would sing the entire album end to end, while wearing his tightest skivvies for added effect?

the kicker is that you just know the outrage would have been double if any actual music had been released. even talk of new albums has to come with spoiler warnings these days.
