My personal favorite on further delving is this one, wherein the SDJ are compared to Al Qaeeda (sp?) in a masterful wank with a familiar flavor, containing these gems:

I have no comment on Daniel Jackson, Jack/Daniel, toesuckers, Sam|Jack or annoying OTPs because I never cared about any of those things. I can say that not all HW are into the Sam|Jack ship nor do they all hate slashers as some of them are slashers. I know because I know quite a few of them and are good friends with others. Can't speak about Alli because I never met her but she very well could be one of the more extreme.

And if you want to talk about a group that can be irrational when it comes to OTPs, try to talk to Jack/Daniel slashers about any other slash pairing and see the warm welcome you get. I know because I was in that fandom just prior to Lotrips.

Talk about going from the fire to the frying pan. ;)
