Ah, Legacy of Kain wank....
Reporting back with some slightly older but apparently still going wank (even if slightly offtopic later on in the thread) from the Legacy of Kain fandom. :D

Recently, Amy Hennig (main writer for the LoK series since the beginning with Blood Omen) has decided to go forward with her career and leave the Crystal Dynamic Team.

It started out as a rumour, but it was quickly confirmed by Ben Lincoln over at the Nosgothic Realm Forum, one of the few people to actually in contact with Amy Hennig and some of the CrystalD team.

And it only goes downhill from there. There are mixed replies of well wishes, surprise, denial, outrage, to demands of an explaination from Amy herself. They also range from hoping that the new people at the helm of the series will do good, to people all but writing off the series completely. (Ah, gotta love over reactive fans...)

Some of the outraged comments are directed at the video games series she's going to working on now over at Naughty Dog, the Jak and Daxter series. Basically saying it's not good enough for her talent. Bah. (Which, I have no complaints about, as I'm a fan of both series and she'll do nothing but improve over Jak 2, even if on page 4 says that she's not writing the story. :p)

Over on the Legacy of Kain community on lj, it's definately not as wanky, but damn, do some people ever give up fast on a series as a whole.

	she'll do nothing but improve over Jak 2 No kidding. I was disappointed with it. And i suck at flying so i couldn't get too far cause i couldn't get past the parts when you had to be quick with the hovercar. Although i wasn't that into the first one either. 	I really liked it...that may have been mostly because of Erol though. My biggest complaint was having to fly all the way across the huge mazecity for every mission...yes, the city was graphically impressive and such, but it was also big and twisty and repetitive and most of it served little/no purpose. Heh...best scene in the game in my opinion....they really shouldn't use up the best part right at the beginning though. Made everything else just slightly disappointing. ;_; Although, just about everything Erol said to Jak in the whole game seemed to strongly hint at hot slashy bdsm probably-non-con.
Anyway, Erol's my favorite Jak II character. Sadistic, egotistic, and just a bit nuts. Plus he looks damn good. Too bad about what happens...*sniffle*

I rather liked Sig, and Daxter was so much better throughout the entire game compared to the first. Erol was a great character too. Just have to think about bringing him back as an ottsel. >3

	Seems as if the LoK fandom has turned away from hardcore wank altogether. I waited for this to grow, then implode, collapse under its own weight - with a short excursion into "women have no idea about gaming/game making anyway, we're better off without her" - to come back at full circle and finish off with a pro & con on Raziel's hair but no ... hmpfs (Reply to this)(Thread)

	Yeah, the NR has it's spats, but never completes the circle of wank. They go offtopic rather quickly. It looks like they already covered the Umah and BO2 hating in the last few pages.
