Plagarism: Does anyone care when the writers suck? Some of you may remember when Loonywoif/Sunsinger dramatically declared she was giving up writing. Especially Yu-Gi-Oh! And no one cared. She's still wanking away, this time complaining of plagarism. It starts out simple enough, with Sunsinger complaining that her Lions Pride co-author re-wrote the story and posted it elsewhere without her knowing. She added a prologue, she added about 10 lines and then from there on, it's almost exactly the same. One would think, if she claims to be a writer, she should be able to take the basic kernels of the story and expand. No... instead she claims total dominion over something she never would have written without me. Sunsinger then invites us to "Do Your Own Comparison" I never said she didn't add in a new line every so often so I'll definitely show those too... but window dressing doesn't mean it's not the same. Just as if I took a hat and added a flower, doesn't mean it's not the same hat. It's a dressed up hat, but still the same hat. But wait, it gets even more incoherent: ...people, I never agree to let my words out of my sight because I know how people can twist and misuse them. So for her to say that I agreed to let her use my lines is a lie. I don't ever do that. Ask my friends. They know how careful I am with my words. I'll even correct them when they quote me and get it wrong. Simply because I know how vague words really are. I remember one experiment a teacher did with us. and they told us, "don't look around, just draw a chair." We did and though there were 27 people in the class we didn't have 3 chairs that look the same. That just shows how something so simple as a "chair" could be so complex. Think about "red" your idea of red isn't mine, isn't your sib's, or your parents. They see it differently. So why would I let something so volatile as my words out? There's fun in the comments as anonymous people tell her to move on. Sunsinger disagrees and fun is had by all. Sunsinger continues to complain, but it looks like everyone else has moved on. Why hasn't she? |
