Yeah, and check out the retort a little ways down: Goth was around way before Manson! In fact, everyone knows that the Goths originated in Spain in the early 1900s and developed their own art and architecture! You really should look these things up first, yanno!

She's even got "deathrock" listed in her interests.

My bet is "she" is a goth taking the piss (in a really annoying, immature wank-inspiring way).
But not a lot of people in my experience know *all* those references, and the associated humour, without being in some way involved with the goth scene.
