Pirates of the Caribbean 2/IMDB Wank
I don't know if this is wanky or just sad. Apparently on the I(ncorrect)MDB's Pirates of the Caribbean 2 board there is a rumor floating around that there will be auditions for girls ages 12-14 to play Jack Sparrow's niece and Will and Elizabeth's children. It's posted time and time again that this is just a rumor and that the damn script isn't even done yet but the poor, sad, delusional little girls in love with Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom keep on posting, and posting, and posting, and posting...

I pray I'm never in a room with that many 14 years old girls. EVA!!!!!11111LOL!!!1122

Yes, because even if they were casting these parts, they would look for random girls on the internet instead of actual young actors, with agents and experience and whatnot.

I hope to God I wasn't that stupid when I was that age.

Okay. I have a plan.

We post to every PotC messageboard we can find that these auditions are, in fact, happening on *insert date here* at *insert location here*.

Then, when all the 14 year-old fangirls have flocked to the location, we gas them, tie them up, and feed them intraveneously for the next couple of years. When released, they will still be healthy teenagers, but after a long time away from pop culture and Mary Sue fanfiction, they should have sufficiently recovered their human qualities.

Eh, keeping them alive is too much work, and not exactly failsafe, seeing as there's still rabid fangirls in their forties that have kids.

I think everyone who not only fangirl whines, but writes out their fangirl whine needs to have the thing they hold most dear dangled above them in a cherry picker until they can write an urgent request that includes attention to the minor details of writing. Like non-optional vowels.

The PotC forums are brilliant. I particularly like the thread where IAMGOINGTOMARRYORLANDO asks if anyone knew what religion Orlando Bloom was, and the following conversation appeared:
