Harry Potter wank, post here.

I can't fucking believe this! I was at the store a few minutes ago, and I saw this conservative fucktard's car with a large bumper sticker with the Harry Potter logo on it and a big internetional-no sign on top of it? There was also a sticker saying "Jesus hates Harry"! WHAT THE FUCK? WHO THE HELL KIND OF PERSON DOES HE THINK HE IS? THAT BASTARD! If my mum wasn't there to restrain me I would have kicked his ass to Pluto! I almost grabbed a bat and beat him to a bloody pulp along with his fancy-ass goody-goody car! I was gonna grab a knife and stab him till I could stab no more, that fucking asshole! I tell you, I would have killed him, then and there! Grr! Why are some people so stupid?

Troll or just over-caffienated, I wondered. So, I scrolled down her journal, trying to decide. Most of it's quizzes, but I found this, (23 Mar 2004):

I just went to the loo, and I saw an ant on the wall, I was about to hit it with a shoe, when I realized something... killing that ant would violate everything I stand for. It would make me such a hypocrite. I would be taking the life of a defenseless creature. However it may look, whatever it may do, I have no right to terminate it's existance. Think of how many ants and spiders and flies you have killed or seen killed... that's a lot!

I mean, I've accidentally stepped on bugs, and inhaled gnats... but should I do it intentionally? It's like, you get in a car accident... but should you go out and run someone down? No. Killing ANYTHING intentionally is just plain wrong...

Hee.

But the thing I liked most about the original post is that she would've killed the guy...except her mother stopped her. Somehow, for me, that doesn't help the badass imagery.

She seems quite pleased she made LJDrama, though.

I'm just amused by the little digression over whether pro-religious, anti-Harry Potter, and pro-Bush equals conservative or not.

I mean, the guy's right, she doesn't know for sure, but (at least in this case) one would think the law of averages is on her side.

Unfortunately, it's the only one who is.

JEEZ. Yeah, that bumper sticker sounds stupid and over the line (Jesus probably has better things to do than hate a children's book. =P), but that person's reaction...jeez, so someone's an idiot and thinks your favorite book is all evil and stuff. That's THEIR problem. :P

To be fair, I'd be pretty pissed if I saw a bumper sticker like that myself, but I wouldn't get THAT mad unless the person owning the sticker insulted me personally. And they probably wouldn't. People have better things to do with their time than insult random strangers.
