I noticed that too. A theory was tossed around that this was retribution for that scolding Jayne got about her post... all the people that came out publicly against it. ::shrugs:: I don't think it's that, because I'm pretty sure most of fandom frowned on that post.

My theory is that the list was compiled to try to get the biggest reaction. Whether from the people themselves, or the people that would rush to defend them. The 'accidental' email sent to chased_amy might have been a sort of publicity 'slip' to get the fandom outrage ball rolling. But then again, maybe I'm giving the anonymous person too much credit for manipulation and political astuteness.

Ah, aren't we all? We're a part of fandom_wank, so that pretty much seals the deal, from what I've heard.
