Then, why the hell does the next message in the comm say this?

My little site has apparently caused a huge controversy, names/lists withheld. Silly me for thinking it would be a good idea to share my doujinshi with other fans. I'm obviously an insensitive twit who needs to go commit seppuku to appease the doujinshi artists' massive emotional trauma for having their art stolen by the evil little gaijin.

I just don't see the logic this elist moral doujinshi fan routine. If hopping to your nearest bookstore and ordering all of AS-SPECIAL's djs were that simple, then I wouldn't need to make a site.

Can somebody tell me WTF happened between yesterday and today?

	Good question. Maybe someone emailed her? It kind of reads like a cry for attention/support, since I don't see where anyone was other than completely supportive of her website project. :\ Who knows? I'd say to check the Dreams of Sakura board or one of the other places X fans might congregate (lj community x1999 ?). I would, but the last time I did, it hurt my brain. ;_; (Reply to this)(Thread)

	Checked all the CLAMP-related LJ comms I'm in. Even Clamp Fans, which at times still gives me a headache. There's no word about it. It's mostly a trading ML, but discussion arises every now and then. A lot of that discussion is interesting, too.

Anyway, you want wank, you should go about a year/year and a half back and look for the Great Shota Debacle, which for a while kept going and going and going... (It was amazingly civil overall, but still kinda wanky.)

I've heard in other places that some artists (not just doujinshi ones--CLAMP also has this policy) don't like their artwork being put up on websites without their permission, regardless of whether or not they're credited. Maybe something happened along those lines in this case? Possibly either the artist/circle for the doujinshi or a ~~rabid~~ fan of said artist/circle blasted the website owner via email/mailing group?

	The wank was on the dojml. I got the digests this morning. I was thinking about copying and pasting the wank as their archives aren't open to the public but then got bored and lazy. Sorry i'll look if there's anything new and start posting if people are interested. (Reply to this)(Thread)
