Listen, my friends, to the tale of one Krissie Yukari, a member of the Peace Maker Kurogane LJ community. Krissie has graced the community with many, many posts of her fanart and dialogue fan fiction. Krissie is also the founder of PeaceMaker Kurogane College: "It is here that the characters of PeaceMaker Kurogane come to America......and end up attending college..along the way they meet a girl named..." Guess. I dare you. FYI, for those of you who aren't familiar with the series, Peace Maker Kurogane is set in 19th-century Japan.

She gets some positive reviews, but Krissie still feels like people aren't paying enough attention to her, so she makes some apology posts saying "I'm sorry my fics suck." This time she gets some polite, helpful feedback, pointing out obvious things like characterization and her self-insert character. And still, one of her friends comes back with "OMG how can you be so meen?" Krissie herself steps in to invoke Snacky's Law and angst about her Dark Soul.

Updates: Her own personal defense brigade Onegai_sensei has created a community for persecuted fans. And Krissie's put her own journal into a lockdown...
