So over at Badfic_Mainline, [info]limeysugar posted about a badfic that was posted to fellowshippers. [info]billysmycupatea objects to the mocking going on (She might be the author, which is probably why the story has been taken down):

Look, it's one thing to critique someone else's words, but it's a whole different thing to go as far as to link to the person's story for everyone to read and give the person a bad reputation. Honestly, do you people have nothing better to do with your boring little lives? Try reading more than one paragraph before you go off spouting criticisms.

It's a bit small, but it's got potential.

I can't decide what's funnier, [info]limeysugar bitching that Americans don't speak English (because yeah, those cockney and north-country dialects, those aren't bastardized at ALL) or [info]starbucksmanic trying to impress all and sundry with her mad polylingual skillz that apparently don't extend to speaking coherent English. Maybe if you read some of starbucksmanic's other stories you'd realize that she has a talent for writing that many of you can only dream of ever having. Every writer has off days, that doesn't mean that just because one story is bad you can diss (you do know what that word means don't you?) on the author all around.
