Deviantart / Guilty Gear mini-wank!
On Deviantart, Remirez-Leonard posts a piece of art expressing distase for characters in the videogame "Guilty Gear."

The Artist Comment:

Guilty Gear needs no humor; it started out hardcore, it should end hardcore. Baldhead was enough humor to begin with, and even that was almost pushing it.

Bridget is the walking ass cancer of a poorly put together character just to apease the airheaded fangirls who though Sol and Ky were lovers. Such fanwhore material has no right to exist, therefore is a joke character, and deserves to be destroyed. And the fact that he's a CROSSDRESSING LITTLE KID further fucking illustrates his uselessness to Guilty Gear as a whole.

Faust is just outright unfunny. No need for slapstick humor in such a serious environment.

I'm not saying Sol and Ky are anything. Ever since the first Guilty Gear, Ishiwatari started to analy fuck the series over with stupid creation after stupid creation. Not saying that Anji or Slayer, or Ino or hell, even Venom suck or anything, but all the joke characters have to end, because they're NOT funny, and they're NOT vital to the storyline much LESS make the story anything near interesting whatsoever.

Now fuck off twit. You don't like my version of hardcore? Then stay the hell away. No one asked your bitch ass to come in the first place./

There's more, but overall, short and sweet.

Anyway...Kuri was pretty harsh, but Ramirez deserved it. Reminds me of some of those "yaoi fangirls aren't allowed to watch yaoi unless they're really bisexual" wankers from awhile ago. --;;;;

Don't particularly have any comments. I don't like character-bashing, but both parties use enough insults and cursewords for me to be iffy about supporting any.

Well while GreatteacherKuri isn't gonna win any politeness awards I see no reason to be polite to what's-his-name. He was an asshole from the start.

I guess we should tell Daisuke that he's not allowed to make any characters this person doesn't like.

Yeah. I think since about the Milk=Rape incident, mods have been a teensy bit wary of getting on Fandom Wank.

I think I can get it. I mean, certain communities exist to suit a bias-- Anti Yaoi don't like yaoi. Some feminist communities like being safe from any patriarchy. There's no pretense of caring whether you are polite and have a point if you like yaoi or are a member of the patriarchy (by say, thinking it's imaginary). Or something. The wanker stays, the polite, reasonable poster gets booted, because that bias is (to some extent) part of their job.

And much wank flows forth.

Not sure whether to edit my post to include this or not. On the one hand, it's wanky. On the other hand, wank about Fandom Wank seems odd to deal with on Fandom Wank, kind of like wank and i_wank should not mix.

I've never even hard of Guilty Gear, and have only ever been to that community in the past half-hour. They've apparently heard of us, and now it's in full DO NOT LINK TO US panic. Don't they know the best way not to get attention from Fandom Wank is never to mention wank, and not wank further? Apparently not!

That member's a member of that community. I don't intend on joining, so to prevent them from getting banned, I'll do it by myself.

It's the guilty_gear comm on LJ Relevant posts are yesterday night, and today about two hours after I posted this. Mild mod-freakage demi-wank.

Hopefully, they'll realize getting on fandom wank isn't the end of the world, or necessarily a judgment on your character BOW BEFORE THE HIVE VAGINA now.

But there's a (surprising) amount of guys that actually find humour in Teh Gay. I was at an informal Guilty Gear X bout at Otakon in the game room several years back, and after my turn was up, two guys were playing Sol and Ky against each other.

Sol x Ky jokes were flying like no tomorrow--between the small amount of girls watching, the guys playing, and a few others in the crowd. ("Stop raping me!" cried the Ky player. "When am I gonna be on top?") And not in the bitter, mean-spirited way. Colour me surprised.

But then, that was the first time I ever had some guy shake my hand and tell me this was the first time he ever got his ass handed to them on a platter by a girl. So maybe it was just the crowd. (Another guy was singularly impressed by my Anji costume. They were all a really friendly bunch for a series of strangers whose only common things were lack of sleep and Guilty Gear LUV.)

I always felt, that because of the Guilty Gear material, you couldn't afford to be a homophobic fanboy to play the game.

Oh, how I don't know the fandom. And boy am I glad!

Y'know, when Testament's voice was a cheap morph of a male and female speaking at the same time, and the final boss had a foot-long protruding penis cover. And, really, I don't see how Bridget is any worse than May (who was in the first game) throwing giant plushie dolphins at her enemies, or Johnny (first game, ding ding) flying the pedophile ship around,

GG = probably THE most cracked out fighting game.

Back in the day, when the only thing out in English was the first game, I had a burned copy that was stuck permanently on the most difficult setting and had all kinds of weird ass bugs - when things in the 'hood got really boring, all us nerds would gather 'round yee olde PS1 and see who could beat it. The guys would always cop out at the end because Justice's penis disturbed them. XD;
