"InuYasha" hentai wank!
And here's more "InuYasha" fandom wank. (None of the visual links are safe for school or work.)
Urd-chan is a grown woman and mother of several- a fairly well known figure in the "InuYasha" fandom. She's one of the people who has been around for years, you know- before it all went to hell in a handbasket with it's premiere on cartoon network.
Urd runs a couple mailing lists: "InuYasha" Ecchi doujinshi being her most popular with almost 1,000 members, all there to see the extensive hentai doujinshi collection she scans and uploads.
Sure she'd do some things every once in a while that irritated some, but recently she opened a comprehensive "InuYasha" hentai site without... putting much thought into it.
Unfortunately this site is chock full of uncredited and unsorted fanart. People are naturally going to be upset at her right?

Plagiarism is bad, right? It's perfectly natural for someone to get
upset when
their fanfictions are plagiarized:
Exhibit #1- OMG they like... stole my fanfic!!!
Even a little cussing isn't all that unnatural a response:
Exhibit #2- And that b**tch got mad at ME!
What's IS unusual is to get that upset about plagiarized fanfiction
stories and then to create a hentai gallery entirely of uncredited fanarts. WARNING, VERY
explicit content!! (Bondage, non-con, pedophilia, other errmm... stuff.)

She claimed that she would add links and credit to the artists,
but has made no move to do that OR to remove any of the fanart, as of yet.
Several people have since hit the guestbook complaining that at least
some of the fanart was stolen without permission and asking it to be removed. To which
the creator said what she did was ok, since "Believe me, if it's
included in my gallery, it's already widespread on the internet." Summarily, other
people are stealing the fanart, so it's ok for me to do it too.

As a couple of the entries in the guestbook point out- despite the fact that she says she'll credit her stolen fanart, she has ignored all emails telling her who and what to credit. (Apparently thinking them to be 'flames.') One of the entries is even from an artist whose work is featured without permission or credit on the site. This entry was ignored.
Then Urd ran off and whined to her yahoo group of minions who worship her for giving them their pr0n fix to get
sympathy since everyone is being so cruel to her. Asking she get permission and give
credit before posting other people's fanart, so HARSH!

And, of course, her loyal minions agree whole heartedly "Plagiarism is
ok so
long as we're the ones doing the stealing"

Several of the pieces in question are by well known artists and DO have signatures or artist watermarks on them. (Including popular InuYasha fanartists such as Evercool Resurrected and Yana Goya (Yaoi warning) So the issue of not knowing who to credit shouldn't be present.
So let me get this straight... it's okay to post uncredited smutty fanart, but not for people to plagiarize your smutty fanfics? When people take so much time to draw these characters err... naked, they deserve the same credit as when you write about them... naked.
Right.
