I love PopDirt, which is like a pop music news site with all the best gossip. Occasionally, too, you stumble upon quite the flammable little ho-down. And I do mean that literally.

In this instance, The Backstreet Boys' AJ McLean has told a radio station that their upcoming album will cover "Don't Disturb This Groove" by The System. The comments start out nicely enough, saying "Cool!" and "I love that song!" But then an Eminem fan, whose actual complete user name is, I kid you all not, Shadys_Lady (Eminem Is My Tony Montana @ Teenyboppers deserve to be shot), has to rain on everyone's parade by posting:

Are the backstreet boys still pretending to make music? I thought their fan base left them when they turned 5.

And then I'm afraid it got REALLY ugly. Cut and past here for your pointing-and-laughing convenience.

eminem is fake. he goes on and on about killing and fighting, hoes this and that, but his record is squeaky clean and all the girls have made it clear that he can't f---k. he can't fight for ish either, hence D12 goes with him everywhere he goes.

laughing stock? BSB has 12 Grammy nominations. they are pop's guiding light. and they and their fans have grown. eminem obviously hasn't, hence his latest video "My Band." someone should remind him that that's the same crap as what was on his first album.

1) He sings about a lot more than killing and fighting and hoes. You are probably just some *****got [ESCARGOT!!] who got pissed off when he slammed your homophobic ways. He is not a phony, I know what you think of him because it's what I wanted to think when I first picked up Infinite, I wanted to hate him for the obvious reasons, but if you listen to his music and still hate on him then you re really a jealous mother*****er, or have no taste (which I guess is already obvious as you like boybands)
2) There was ONE girl who said that he couldn't ***** - an angry ex. You believe everything you read in tabloids?
3) How have BSB grown? They are still doing the same boring, mindless ***** as always.
4) Em has grown, his songs have improved.. My Band is a just a joke, he doesn't take himself too seriously - thats a good thing believe me.
5) No, I am very straight thank you, with guys like Eminem out there how could any girl be gay? You are the queer BSB fan. [Side note: ?!!?!?!?!?]
6) Who said I don't like pop? Learn to read, I don't like teenybopper boybands. I like Christina, and I dont mind Pink or Kylie.

I'm 35 and love BSB. I have also meet Nick and he is a doll. All the guys are all great. Their music makes me happy and i do not mind my 11 year old listening to them. By the way i am a music teacher, and teach Bach and Betoveen, so i should know what is good and what is not!!!
