First Post!

I noticed this morning's post on </a></b></a>[info]dilbert_feed had over 75 posts, which seemed a lot for a comic posting less than eight hours old.

It seems that the First Post phenomenon really pisses some people off.

They used to have a fun List of the Day on the Dilbert site. It also had a false sense of competition. That was fun, especially after I learned how to hack it.

I used to play it a lot in 2001, but when I came back in 2002 it was gone or I couldn't find it. Hacking was fun, especially when used for good and not evil. I'd go in and subtract votes from the unfunny people who were stuffing the ballot box.

The icon was inspired when we saw an article by Orson Scott Card vehemently opposing Gay marriage. Mr Cronkite followed up with his own article which I shall summarize as follows: "Hey Dickwad! Isn't this religion thing supposed to be about, you know, loving people and not hating them?"

Upon reading it I was instantly transformed into a trusting, 10-year old girl wearing an absurdly short skirt and patent leather shoes with the little socks with lace on them, which was kinda weird, but you know, whatever.
