Tip of the Iceberg Wank
My first, so it might not seem very wanky.

In the grand game of Final Fantasy Online, I am in a linkshell named "OZCorps". Normally, this is merely a large linkshell of friends and good feelings.

Then, the great LS drama of OZCorps explodes.

Sadly, I cannot convey most of the wank to you as it takes place in FFXI, and therefore uncopyable. However, this forum is the group's main forum.

Firstly is the deathmatch between linkshells Fury and OZCorps, as illustrated by the above forum post. There was some bad drama, GM calls, general flinging of obscene language and a few questionable gestures, illegal programs and hacking. All this left the linkshell with a faintly bad taste and a general consensus of "what the fuck just happened?" All anyone knew about what happened is that it was "bad" and therefore the two LS now hate each other, although they're not sure why and the confusion has caused yet more drama that sprang up in the post.



Aeleria states: "I'm honestly bugged by Fury hating us. I dislike being hated for absolute jack reason. Perzians /shout when we got Roc also annoyed the hell out of me. Does anyone CARE about anyone in Fury? I don't mean as friends, I mean, do you hate any of them? Do you think of them as enemies? Do you think they need to quit making more drama and accept that nobody cares?

If any Fury members read this ( Apart from Fat, who tends to be in both, you freak ) please just either tell us WHY the anger, or lay off. It's depressing and infantile.

The only reason thus given was Fury hates Helm because of what happened to General. It's not Helms fault General was born with half a brain. It's not Helms fault General lies. It's not Helms fault General fucks up.

So, please, inform us of your grievances so we can settle this in an adult manner.

Or just complain, rant, whatever about Fury here and give them half a reason to hate us.

Oh, and in reply to Perzians little crack about wait till PvP and we'll find out who is best: PvP is currently, and since it is titled "Conflict" and based around nations, Nation vs Nation, not LS vs LS. It is also, and will remain, completely CONSENT BASED.

People generally agree with Aeleria, though some state they are confused about why everyone hates everyone. (I very good question.)

Fury DOES NOT hate OZcorps and as far as I know OZcorps DOES NOT hate Fury

Perzian is rarely even in Fury and if he said something rude it was probably his bro usin his computer. Perzian and I go way back and he said some rude things to me once and later he apologized and told me it was his little bro.

I don't even know what he said to you when you were fighting Roc, but a character that is rarely in Fury linkshell should not make you think Fury hates you.

So any grudge between Fury and OZcorps is only a myth. I have never seen anyone in Fury link chat bad mouth OZ. In fact I remember a new member asking if anyone knew Helm just the other day and several people responded that he is cool.

The only fued that I am aware of is some incident involving General, Helm, Aeleria, Leri, and Lt General. This has absolutely nothing to do with the linkshells. I don't know what LT General said exactly but accusing General of stealing accounts and telling everyone that he accidnently called for help when we fought Roc is not exactly a nice thing to do. Alot of people in OZ have gotten help from General and it kinda upsets me when people try to hurt his feelings or anyone elses for that matter.

The other day when Kat got a Fury pearl it reminded me that I had not visited my friends in OZ for a while so I came over to say hi and what did I find but my name being dragged through the mud. So I asked a few people in OZcorps and this is apparently not the first time (I'm a spy or somethin I guess). I have since put my pearl in storage until I get kicked or decide to just drop it altogether.

Considering the general agreement of both groups seems to be that the other group hates them, didn't he just insult everyone in the linkshell?

The real gem here is that everyone admits that no one knows why they hate each other and that *they* don't neccesarily hate the other group, but all believe that everyone else hates each other.

They're even unsure what started the whole thing in the first place. Is it possible to create a map for lost wankers? They seem to be wanking without reason or need. They just throw the same statement back and forth and try to understand.

I go *boggle*.

Leri steps in and contributes to the understanding of *why* this whole thing started, but everything is much in the dark. Everyone is left standing and blinking and going "what the shit?"

Oh, I wish I could copy FFXI text to show you the utter glory of the wankage that spills forth from this group. The forum shows little to no wank, but it is just the tip if the great drama iceberg.

Of course, this is not to mention the petty little powerplays and minor dramas the group cooks up in normal discussions.

Latest drama:

Helm quoted "'God is dead.''Ah, the sign of a true Catholic.'" From the movie Dogma.

Zeppex is offended by this jab at his religion, cusses out Helm in a decidedly unGod-like fashion, then promptly logs off for the night.

This spurs the whole group into a discussion of "omg Zeppex is so uptight!", "ppl take their religion way too seriously", and "omg isn't Dogma the kewlest movie!?!"

This all happened in a span of five minutes. This group spurts forth wank like Old Faithful.

Again, the forum is only a tiny indication of the massive underground lakes of wank this group has, and I'm sorry if it didn't sound very wanky. I'm trying, I am!

And why can I never find the wank!?!?
