Gaia wank is always fun, but I'm surprised that no one's mentioned Neopets wank. It's almost the same thing, except with cute fuzzy animals. It's spawned a lot of "tips" sites about how to play the games. One of them I hit occasionally is Neocolours, which is handy if you want to see all of the pet and colour options in one place. It sort of creeps me out, though, because the site seems to be maintained and frequented by adults. Adults who take their online Tamogotchi very, very seriously.

Lately the creative team at Neopets has been changing up lots of character designs. One of the designs being made over is the Lupe, a wolf/dog sort of critter. The site's maintainer is not pleased.

I could almost point to any of the news entires or forum posts as prime wank, but it's most obvious in the board for

I think having literate, seemingly-mature people making this big a deal over the whole thing disturbs me more than it would if they were holding forth in the typical l337 "OMGBBQ!!!1@3.14!"style.
