It's Offical: All Gamer Wank Leads to White Wolf
I hang out in the Roleplayers LJ Community. It has a few little kerfuffles occasionally, but it mostly seems to exist to get RPG reviews, gaming logs, and general discussion.

Today, DJ Smeg reveals he doesn't like the World of Darkness.

It started with his post about his impressions on the new Vampire game from WoD. There is much harping on the inconsistencies of the system.

Including such gems as:
What really hurts vampires anyway?

Not to mention it leads to another post on Why do gamers complain so much about game systems?

	Man, I was president of Leiden's LARP club in college. He's so cool. Mellow most of the time and a real brick when he's got a cause. Great guy. Unfortunately, he's usually very level-headed and that is bad for teh wank. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	ah rpg wank, how i miss those days of sitting in the back of the store i helped run, arguing over line of site for a 100 ton battlemech, or whether or not I COULD phase out Kitty Pride style and wedge a lead pipe in my enemies face... 	Yeah... I tend to avoid White Wolf fandom, because the little of it I've seen scares the hell out of me -- not to mention that our local twink's love of Vampire the Masquerade is rivaled only for his love of epiic-level D&D. Played Exalted once and had fun with that. (Reply to this)(Parent)

	Heh... I can't even understand most of what they're wanking about, simply because I never really bothered to bone up on the combat system anyway. Most of my actions in a fight consisted of "running very quickly away." (Reply to this)(Parent)
