Anonymous posts about how cruel it is that all the (other) anonymous people are dissing poor innocent writers who are devoting themselves to producing fanfic when they could be out robbing banks and raping babies:

As writers we take time and effort doing something we love, for no monetary gain. We could be out holding up banks, abusing children, committing mass murder or some other completely heinous crime, but We're not that evil.

Although according to many of the posts here, many authors rank somewhere up there with those kinds of criminals.
