Ah, but your missing half the wank!

See, after the fic was originally posted, burnitbackwards wrote a remix version of the story in which Gus went to therapy. She friends locked it. In the comments thread, a number of people gossipped about how much it disturbed and horrified them, whilst using all of their cutest Gus icons. One fandom BNF (ragingpixie) decided that spaggel and zoisite should be kicked out of the fandom (her exact words were -- I never want to read [the fic] again for as long as I live and I don't want anyone I like to read it or even come close to clicking on a link that might lead to it). Spaggel sat back and laughed at the glorious wank, got defriended by one person (susanderavish), and then friended by five other people. And zoisite replied to everyone's comments (I find her tenacity quite admirable).

There's also the part where they tried to post the fic to bjfic.net. It was rejected on the grounds that it was underage and incestuous (though techinically it was only incestuous -- Gus was aged 16 in the fic, which is the age of consent in Pennsylvania). It was submitted again, and rejected again. It was submitted a third time and allowed to remain (this is what I meant about finding zoisite's tenacity admirable). Sadly, there wasn't really any wank in the feedback on the bjfic.net.

BTW, spaggel loves you now. She's been praying that this would end up on F_W since day one.

Hee! I dunno. Her arguing just kind of makes me tired, actually. Personally, my favorite part was ragingpixie being all like "I shun you and your children and your children and your children's children and I hope you die."

Funnier when you put it into the context that none of the BNF's object to the disproportionately large number of chanslash (I'm talking preteen, here) fics (by reputable authors) in the fandom.

Like what though? The only ones I can think of are by Shannon Marie -- you know, like the one where sixteen year-old Brian fucks ten year-old Justin.

	There's also dleigh's fic where both Brian and Justin are thirteen and Justin is being lusted after by a 17 year old Ben (though he only has intercourse with Brian, I think). Not quite preteen, but almost. Quite a popular fic, too. And very NC-17. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Oh yeah, I remember that one. Maybe people are just more freaked out by incest than pre-teen fucking? I don't know. I didn't even read the incest fic. I just think Zoisite being the engergiser bunny of wank is more annoying than anything else. Of course, there is always the fic where Brian falls in love with Justin when Justin is five.
