	Yeah. My speculation about the hiatus of X has to do with CLAMP being sick of the whiny fanbase, and it not being any fun to write. I don't know; I'd rather have no manga than a manga produced by mangaka who are bored with writing the same series. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

I'm disappointed they've left it hanging, because my philosophy is "finish what you start". They shouldn't have made the commitment and generated all that hype in the first place if they couldn't carry through on it. And...I'm confused. Doesn't Apapa draw Tsubasa, which comes out more frequently than X ever did? That makes me doubt the arthritis rumor. My impression is that they didn't plot out X thoroughly enough and they ran out of ideas, so they started rehashing their old series into crossovers. But whatever. X has stagnated, so I've moved on to other series that are complete, or still being published.

Aw...And when I clicked on the link, I was hoping for people's speculation on how the series would end. :( At this rate, we should probably just make up our own ending...

Hmmmm...

Actually I've noticed that their most recent series have completely different art styles.

XXX-holic is just drawn in a completely different way then most of their series, and Tsubasa reminds more of Gohru Drug and Clover then MKR or X, so I'm wondering if maybe there is something to the 'health problem' rumor.

Even the later issues of X seemed to be drawn in Tsubasa's styling...

But I'm a CLAMP geek.

Yeah, I agree. It's just a manga, of course, but that's 17 or so volumes, posters, pencil boards, and the goddamned $80 hardcover artbook I bought at Yaoi con (>.<). It's annoying to have invested so much money into a story that they can't take the time to finish.

And I'm trying to get over the fact that CLAMP, for now, abandons it for Tsubasa and XXXHOLiC. I'm really trying. I'm not gonna scream over the fact that next year, there's gonna be an anime movie of XXXHOLiC. I'm not gonna wail over the fact that next month, CLAMP is gonna release a picture book of Mokona Modoki.

Because deep inside, I still believe they're gonna finish X. Someday. >____> Because I even wrote my thesis about this series, dammit. So I still believe.
