This is the Prince of Tennis...wank!
Prince of Tennis, while still somewhat of a small fandom, has had a few wanky moments. As for the live-action musical, however, I doubt any has popped up...until now.

[info]sailorstarsun, posting as [info]mukahi_gakuto, posts to [info]tenimyu to promote another TeniMyu comm. (TeniMyu is the 'nickname' for the Prince of Tennis live-action musical, btw).

But this isn't just an advertisement! It seems Sailor has been banned from the community because one of the mods has a personal grudge against her.

She posts her story, posts proof that she has been banned and how her friend helped her...or something. Mod claims that it was 'posting' problems, but it seems only to be with Sailor. People show up telling her she's being childish, blah blah blah. Also, it seems [info]chibihiku joins in to stick up for Sailor. *shrug*

The mod posts an explanation as to what supposedly happened. Now wank here yet, but I'm sure it'll pop up sooner or later.

Replies have been "frozen" (whatever the hell that means), so I don't know if this will progress or not. But hey! TeniMyu wank.

Can't we all just get along and oggle the sexy actors?

Um, I don't think that just removing moderator status will ban someone. Should test that out sometime, but I highly doubt it. If her mod status was removed and she couldn't post, she could rejoin the community and post.

You don't get that message unless you're on a ban list. Should test it out sometime and see if that's the case.

So someone is lying here. >.>

Then again, I don't know jack crap about the PoT fandom and really don't care to know. >.>

Nope, it won't. I've removed mod status on a couple of my journals just for the sake of seeing what would happen, and all it does is do just that - remove mod status. I still have posting access and what not.

But yeah...someone is lying.

Since I have nothing useful or funny to say, I'll add this:

"Freezing" replies is this new thing on LJ—basically you can halt comments in a particular thread if it starts getting out of hand . . . don't know how that would stop someone from just posting a new comment, but if you have a vicious back-and-forth going it can put the kibosh on it.

I remember sailorsaturn posting caps of her TakiEiji (or was it Yanagi?) DVD on said comm and in the exact same post ranting about how she "hates it that *she* paid for the things only to see free fansubs coming out a few weeks later" because, yeah, she's the only one who would pay for fan!crack and everyone else are freeloaders who are too cheap to pay for stuff.

Not impressed with her at all. At least the other mod didn't bring the *personal* issue into a comm that was supposed to be the fangirling of the myu actors.

The other mod, Hildechan, may or may have accidentally/deliberately banned her. *shrugs* There was no need to bring it into the comm (For crying out loud, she had a webpage named lies.htm and linked to it on the post) No one needs to read about how she was oh-my-god!wronged and that she will now have her own sandbox to play with.

Apparently, it was actually a mistake - her mod status was removed, and LJ screwed up her posting rights. She wasn't banned, but she couldn't post either. The new mod (lelola) fixed it all up, and thus the accidental wank is over.

A shame, it was entertaining while it lasted.
