Fark HP Wank. Again.
In response to JKR releasing the title of Book 6, someone posted a link to an article about it on Fark. Wank ensues. Again.

God, they are getting so good at this!

They even brought in graphics for the slash this time!

It makes my skin crawl as it's art used without permission. Not on Fark...they'll do that no matter what. But from the site where they pulled the pic. I'd be willing to bet they never asked BlackRose if they could use that pic on their site.

I ran an experiment on this for a class, taking a few random fanfic from different archives and running them on MS Word. Most HP fanfic are average at Grade Level 6. ^^ Just fact.

I'm not sure how common it is in the general fandom, but the people who run the Unplottables community on LJ have the Knight to King website where they explain their backing for Ron-is-Dumbledore, so it's pretty common on unplottables.

There was wank about it a few months back, I think.

All fanfic sucks. It's written by either 12-year-olds (which is actually acceptable) or losers so obsessed with something that they can't come up with their own characters.

It always comes back to insulting fanfic. Always.

Ah, the farkers. So good at proving points civilly. I was waiting for the "Hermione: I'd hit it" comments and sure enough, farkers never fail to deliver.

He was found hanging from his ceiling in his 200 square foot apartment.

I had to roll my eyes at the obligatory attacks on fanfic, though.

I think it's a bad, bad sign for the future of this book that even the TITLE is slashy.

I should probably kill myself before I run off to write pre-book fanfic where Draco was actually Lucius' adopted bastard child and is therefore the Half-Blood Prince. And in order to keep his powers he has to get married by the time the sun sets on his 18th birthday so he gets together with Harry and they shag a lot.
