Death Note's First Wank
There's some classic yaoi wank going down in the tiny fandom of Death Note. It's a manga involving a psycho main character, Raito, with a Notebook of Death who wants to cleanse the Earth of criminals. Also, a super smart teenage investigator, L, who attends school with Raito while attempting to gather enough evidence to arrest him. (Are you sensing where the slash is coming from?) That's a really terrible summery so just go read it.

OMG! Our first wank! I was wondering if this would come up here. Though it hasn't really gotten vicious enough to be very wanky yet, IMO. Maybe it will soon, once the OP comes back, or someone starts rabidly defending the OMGNOT!LEZBAIN.

Ah, Death Note. I fell in love with that story in the one-shot. So sad that main guy didn't make it to the normal series, he was so much teh sex. X9

It's all typical yaoi-wank, but the thing that gets me is the one guy that said "I'm gay, and I don't like the yaoi!" Um...okay. And? I'm straight, does that mean I have to like EVERY HET PAIRING OMG?

People, get over it. Yaoi exists. Technically yaoi is supposed to have no point, no meaning and all that good stuff, so it's going to be everywhere. You think it can't be slashed? Sounds like a really fucked up version of Mysterious Thief Saint Tail. Does Raito undergo a sparkly transformation?

Though DNAngel really invites shounen and yaoi. Satoshi (Krad, and tasked to catch Dark) keeps rescuing Daisuke (Dark the thief) when they are on opposite sides of the fight. There was even one or two episodes in the manga with Satoshi suspiciously blushing and almost admitting to "liking someone". Hmmmm...wonders if it's Daisuke who it could be...
