oh. sorry. i didn't know that (obviously). i'm not a really big elijah fan, so i don't regularly follow his career/personal life/whatever....good. he finally realised that he don't need a beard. there are a lot of leatherpantslovers in Hollywood besides him.

Young actor 'smitten' by local entertainer.

Elijah Wood, the star of Peter Jackson's critically-acclaimed 'The Lord Of The Rings', has admitted to a crush on a local stage performer. Elijah, 23, has spoken of his feelings for Sue O'Maley, 18, of Black Duck Cove, NF.

"I couldn't believe it when I first saw her. It was like love at first sight!" Elijah says. "It was like I was sucked into the pages of Shakespeare and she was my Julliet. She is so talented and and I am absolutely smitten by her. I send her a box of turtles everyday, as well as dandelions and tullips. It's definitly love for me and its wonderful!"

Sue O'Maley refused to comment on a romantic relationship with Elijah but did say the two are very close friends and that they have lived together in his Hollywood trailer in England and has visted with him in Prague. The two have been spotted at the Mile 1 Stadium in St. John's and at Kentucky Fried Chicken on Elizabeth Avenue. They have also been spotted at Studio 12 in the Avalon Mall and at the gentleman's cabaret on Water Street.

It is rumored that Sue is 3 to 5 months pregnant with Elijah's first child. It would be the first child for both but Elijah's representatives have furiously denied this argument. Sue has a son, Dale, from a previous relationship.

Elijah will next be seen in the adaptation of 'Everything is Illuminated' which is currently shooting in Prague. Sue is currently taking an Early Childhood Education Course at the College Of the North Atlantic in Bay Roberts and will star in Pete Soucy's upcoming theatrical version of "Snooked".
