Jessica as Dazzler? Say it isn't so!
It seems that Jessica Simpson is up for the role of Dazzler in X3, and the people over at Rangerboard (which is a Power Rangers forum) are in a tizzy....for the most part. We get randomness of "Charmed sucks", "Jessica is better Britney" and "Britney sucks"(which is followed by members gleefully waiting for one of the admins who is a Britney fanatic to see it....seems he takes high offense at peeps slagging off Britney), defending of ickle Jessica, and debate over who in the X-Men movies are actually B-list actors.....

I really hope that's just a strange rumour. Screentime in X-Men movies is hard enough for the established characters to get some of, I don't see the point of wasting any on a popstar cameo when the majority of the audience would have no idea who Dazzler is. Which means that anyone recognisable would just end up being herself for most of audience, unless they gave her several minutes to establish the character.

And if they have several minutes to spare, there are much more interesting characters they could use it on. ~~Who can't be played by Jessica Simpson.~~

	If its someone named Ray, might be the same person. I don't know how true this is or not, but there was some crap that went on (either on rangerboard or anoter PR board) where people got banned by this admin for slagging off Britney. 	Granted, it's been a while since I read the older X-men comics, but wasn't Dazzler's sole purpose to disco rollerskate and make pointless pretty lights? Seems like a perfect role for Jessica Simpson. No acting required. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	well, sometimes she got into hairpulling fights with Rogue(or shooting at her with light. something. I remember something catfighty). Well Halle is going to walk if this one isn't X3:Storm & Storms Shadow. Christina Milian (sp?) is looking like the front runner for replacing her.

Jessica is the wife of Nick Lachey (sp?) from 98 degrees. She's a pop princess with marginally more clothing BUT a line of bedroom edibles. The two of them had a variety show but ran that into the ground since Sonny and Cher they ain't. They are on MTV's Newlyweds; a reality show where Jessica is a moron and Nick is clearly even stupider since he married her. The divorce promises to be beautiful. I'd pay good money to see her try to argue in a court setting.

So in short; Jessica Simpson is a fucking moron

	From what I understand.. I was told that X3 isn't going to be made because none of the original actors are signing on. See, no Wolvie + No Hugh = no one giving a fuck, apparently. I don't want to see them bastardize my childhood anymore... (Reply to this)
