I think it's mostly because they are young. Being hospitalized is pretty damned extreme though, even for a teeney.

i'm pretty sure she's a minor. references to school show up in some of her entries. hhmn. i wish people wouldn't go over there to give her a self-righteous piece of their mind. yeah, it's weird. but she's obviously pretty unsettled in the first place and that shit won't help.

*sigh-cloud* (<-I like those things, they come in handy for so many occasions!) It couldn't be more painfully obvious that this person, or should I say these persons, all are in need of serious therapy and counselling. I mean really...this is just pitiful. And I'm not even going to go into the likelihood that most of these girls base their love for these actors solely on their appearances....

I feel a little bad for the girl, I think she's young (I hope so). When I was 12 I wanted to marry Prince William big time, then I grew up, I don't think I cried about it, umm.

As I admitted in response to the girl I had a bit of a cry when I realised Dom wasn't going to be at the convention I wanted to see him at, tears of disappointment, then I got over it. I also cried when Wesley died at the Angel finale, so my emotional priorities might be a smidgen off.

Have I thought about marrying Dom, yeah, although the honeymoon which involves black silk and bondage figure more prominently then the fluffy wedding and cake. The same way I imagine winning a million dollars, or being able to travel around the world or a number of other fantastic fantasies one involves pirates.

My imagination is probably a helluva better then any reality ;)

This reminds me of an advice column I read in a teen magazine a few years ago. The kid wrote in, "My best friend thinks that she's going to marry Justin Timberlake for real. No matter how much I try to mention real people, she says she's saving herself for Justin. How do I let her know that she's not?" or something like that.

I wonder if people were like this about Scott Joplin or Martin Van Buren.

I've got to say, this sounds more like someone with a major depression issue than a wanker.

I'm not always against wanking the mentally ill - I think both Crystalwank and Bit of Earth wank involved people who walk the fine line of mental chemistry but were worthy wanks nevertheless - but in this case, she's not really hurting anyone but herself and I just feel like I hope she gets help.

If it turns out she's a 30-yr-old mom commiting MbI, now that would be a hell of a wank.
