And you K-site mods smell funny, too!!
You kinda get the impression that lexsbitch67 (who are #1-66?) is pissy at the mods at Kryptonsite? awww, baweeted because it's none of your business! If it's too hard to tell from that, maybe crossbow1 (the first of a series!) can clarify the issues in a reasonable and thoughtful way. Or maybe not. Make sure to read the comments, crossbow's hee hee, this is so funny post, immediately followed by the OMG, I can't keep up! post. But they thoughtfully unlocked it so we could all watch!

ETA The mod in question denies she hates Lex or Clex, and offers an apology sorta. This wank has everything except netspeak!

I know nothing. Is this 'Clex' people speak of a pairing name? If so, it's the worst yet - sounds like Lex and Clex are twin brothers with extremely sadistic and uncreative parents.

Clex=Clark/Lex. Yeah, we're one of those fandoms that squish the characters names together to create pairing names (see also: Chlex, Chlark, Lexana...). To be fair, though, half of the character's initials are "LL", so we really had no choice.

I find it interesting that UM's friends kept saying they feel bad for her having to deal with fans pathetic enough to get aggressive over differences of opinion in fandom.

People took it up with UM in the first place because she herself got personal over fandom. UM had an entry in her lj complaining about certain Lex fans. No one personally attacked UM there. Crossbow made her post in her own lj. UM's friends then turned up to throw insults about "bitchs and twats" and it exculated. Crossbow even had to ban one annoying person who kept popping up although nothing of the situation.

If one person has a right to get hostile in her own lj, then crossbow has a right to do the same.

And yes the whole argument was pathetic, but it's still getting on my tits to hear UM's friends sympathize with her for having to put up with such hostility. All the hostile posts were in another journal and according to their own logic you can post what you like about people in your own journal.

UM really needs to unlock the original post.

There were people from K-site coming in to attack her back for what she said in her LJ. Since I don't think she ever meant it to be an attack on anyone, just a rant (no names were used and no specific incident mentioned), she locked the post. So, no, all the hostile posts were not just in other journals, and turnabout is fair play. (Not that it hasn't gotten out of control and that isn't wanky as well).

Crossbow has been totally obsessed with UltimateMother for weeks, if not months, because UM is the only one with the patience to smack down all the inflammatory, off-topic and totally obnoxious behavior of a group of die-hard Lexfangirls on Ksite, who have dubbed themselves the "Lex Mafia" if that gives you any indication of how borderline trollish the group is.

I'm a site admin at Kryptonsite. I don't really give a shit about Lex OR Clark one way or the other, and even I can see that these girls turn every. single. Clark thread into a sploogefest about how Clark is a brain-dead evilmonger and Lex is just an unfairly maligned, innocent victim "woobie" (A POX ON THE HOUSE OF WHOEVER INVENTED THAT WORD BTW.) When they get told to get back on topic, they insist that it IS on topic, argue every word of every moderator's request, and PM back and forth with any moderator who does so.

Anyone can see this just by wandering around the Clark forums there. It's an unpleasant mess. Very few have crossed the site rules' lines enough to get banned, although many members of the LexMafia are working the "one more peep from you, missy, and you're gone" line.

I'm about to add "We reserve the right to ban anyone for being a complete pain in the ass" to the site rules.

Let's put it this way. Had *I* posted that post from UM, where she was flamed to hell and back just for saying "These people are driving everyone CRAZY!!!" with no cussing, no name-calling, no singling out, and only a big heapful of frustration... it would probably have included cussing, name-calling, singling out, and threats to people's grandmothers.

How do you figure? I didn't even know who the hell you were until yesterday. I've never had one second of trouble on K-site until yesterday. In fact, I've never had any toruble with any posters in any fandom until yesterday.

I'd really love to hear your reasoning. I was going to stop coming here, but now I'm curious.

I don't hang out on K-Site and Ultimatemother's not on my friends list, but this is not the first time I've heard of the "Lex Mafia". At least two other people on my friends list have posted about how unpleasant these girls have made the atmosphere over on the forums, and have all but begged the moderators over there to ban them. Sounds like a smackdown was way overdue.

Fortunately we don't have to deal with it regularly!!! I mean, we ban a good 40-50 trolls and spammers a month there, but this... this is a level of crazy I've never seen before outside of Victoria Bitter!

Basically, it appears to have been a huge deception on the part of one really troubled individual posing as several (one of her personalities had major depression and expressed suicidalness to their friends), duping a lot of well meaning people, and just creating a huge drama involving thousands of posters on at least three different message forums. Disco, JollyCynic, Lexbitch67 and I all discovered that at least three, and possibly more, characters involved in this drama are actually the same individual. We have absolute proof that at least 2 personas are the same person. We figured this out simultaneously last night by comparing IP logs from our various boards, and are putting the pieces together slowly, as this has apparently gone on for *years*! Needless to say, the email addresses of both personas which were working fine yesterday are now bahleeted.

I'm still not able to wrap my brain around what's really gone on. I'll post more information as I get it. The good news is that it looks like we'll all be able to come to an understanding and that most everyone's hurt feelings and anger on both sides will be alleviated and smoothed over. The bad news is that crossbow is still an asshole.
