Sorting Community Wank, and it doesn't have anything to do with being Sorted. I never thought I'd see the day.

That's right, the trolls are baiting the HP fandom again. Shame it's so easy.


Meet Becky . She leaves an anonymous (because she 'doesn't have a journal') comment on Hogwarts Houses, a place where members can submit answers to questions and be 'sorted' by the members. It goes a little something like this:

okay well i think this community is really lame. and you people have no lives. i would expect a 7 year old to be in it. not no 13, 14, 15 and 16. and i think you should all be on the queer list..

Of course, one doesn't tell the HP fans that they have no lives. Wank ensues as she enrages them with her incredible wit - but nothing should have come of it, and if people had sense, that would be the end.

But since when have we ever known people to have sense?

sunfall draws a comic that has about as much maturity as the troll's original post. The troll responds - however she's started using a spelling that is almost a parody of netspeak.

sunfall responds with another comic. Can you hear my sides splitting? In a moment of almost intelligent sarcasm, 'Becky' pokes fun at a group member's spelling. Sunfall misses the point, calling her a hypocrite.

Becky continues to troll the community (or whore herself out for attention, whatever.)
sunfall finds it so marvellous that she draws another comic.

I think the crowning moment of the wank so far has been on this thread, where Becky's sarcasting congratulations to herself about winning the 'Troll of the Year' award inspires numerous people's patient responses explaining 'no, Becky, you don't want to be a troll, they're baaaad...'

People suggest turning off or screening anonymous comments but nothing's yet been done. This reporter is beginning to wonder if this Becky is still the original Becky, as her spacing and spelling becomes more and more erratic.
