As an adjunct to the dierondie wank there is a msyterious group called operatives_r_us!

Who are these people? Well, R/Hr shippers... Ex GT'ers? NO ONE KNOWS! Except there are hints... muddgutts has bowed to their pressure and OMG! Left the fandom (again). And gryffindor_phan claims to KNOW WHO THESE PPL R!

I want NAMES! Sekkrit Identies aren't fun unless you find out who they hell they really are!

Well, the group says it is a joke - but then they lay the smackdown and chase people from fandom (note: I believe anyone who can't take the backstabbing and bar brawls and baby eating does not belong in the HP fandom. Survival of the maddest and most willing to ignore the gore.)

I would like to know why the hell my comment in msscribe's journal was linked. Is it "trolling" to comment with your own screen name in defense of a friend? I realize that there are some "evil operative" comments further down, but why couldn't you have linked to their comments instead of mine?

As a total attention whore in general, I'm not upset by being mentioned on this site. But I'd rather not be listed among the "evil operatives", since I have not participated one iota in this recent trolling hysteria. All of the links lead to the still-unidentified "evil operative" identities EXCEPT the one that links to me specifically. Don't you think that rather sets me up as "part of it", and that my inbox will now be filled with all sorts of bile from angry and petulant LJers looking for someone to blame?

No thanks. I'd rather just stay out of this one.

Fine. I'm not ashamed of what I posted in msscribe's journal - since I had the guts to use my own name in the first place. I'd just rather you not accuse me of trolling as an "evil operative". The link, whether you intend so or not, implicates me as such.

I don't expect any sympathy or mercy here, but I really don't appreciate having lies told about me. Is it that much to ask to change the link?
