Stop posting pictures of half naked women

Ninja_girl is upset with people posting publicity pics
This is not a porn site and it`s not a dating or singles site. I am appalled at the degrading of women here. I don`t care what anyone has to say to try and defend this, because it is just wrong. I have a right to come to a family posting board and not be thrust into the area of porn, no matter how soft it is. I know you know the main post I am talking about. I would advise taking those pictures down now.

And it gets better: beautyofgrey says --- Wow, that was kind of rude. Talk about kettles and pots and black!

And ninja_girl comes back with -- Now it`s because I`m black you have a problem with me! This just gets better all the time. I think Sci-fi will get a strong edge towards this thread now as well and the porn thread for sure. If you want to get into your porn then go to the sites where people expect it.

And it just gets better from there...

Seriously, how much can you reduce that phrase? Pot kettle black is fine, but can we just start saying idioms by throwing out all the nouns in them? It's like money and roots and evils!

More like suprising cultural illiteracy. I don't think I've ever seen anyone so ignorant of common idioms before. Though I do agree that reducing such phrases is silly. beautyofgrey could have made her point using the original phrase and it would have contained the exact same number of words. Still, where the heck did ninja_girl grow up, in a cave?

Apparently I still have more alcohol in my system than I thought, because I'm about to die laughing at the repeating phrase going through my head "Pots and kettles and blacks, oh my! Pots and kettles and blacks, oh my!" Which probably sounds horribly wrong and is, but still amuses the hell out of me. Note to self: either drink lots less alcohol or lots more before posting.
