Too funny. Somehow I'm guessing that if I posted a fancy-looking list of twenty made up books by made up authors (but with fantastically high profile-sounding names no one would dare to admit they've never heard of), I'd get in.

I still don't get why these people enjoy being elitist and being a bitch and being utterly SERIOUS while doing it. Me and a bunch of friends who used to listen to punkrock music (a genre full of elitists - some fans' favourite hobby is to list bands that have sold out or that just aren't pUnk anymore) actually planned to open our very own Anti-Sellouts comm as a joke and see how many Good Charlotte fans would try to get in. Then one of my friends ran into a comm like that for goth-punks on GJ and we laughed at that for 5 minutes and continued living our lives normally.

Strange enough, this comm makes me feel very sympathetic towards the "Hot or Not"-type communities.
