Does anyone remember tribe2003?
Here's the fuck_the_flock community.

The only visible post at this community, basically tells people to post about how much they hate tribe2003. Most people happily comply.

Then, tribe2003 makes a post to make sure everyone knows that she doesn't care, and that she's crying tears of laughter/joy and such.

Apparently, this community likes to laugh at people behind their backs or something (except for this entry), I'm not entirely sure. I looked at the community info, and if you scroll down, you see there have been 10 posts made when we can only see one. From the bio, this is one of those supercool secret clubs that only cool people are allowed into where they secretly laugh at other people. No, I'm not hurt that I wasn't invited, really, I'm not.

The QaF fandom can be quite wanky when it tries. There's some sort of smaller wank going on here too. I'm not sure what's up with the censoring out of names.

QAF is a wonderful show. The fandom is too filled with hate, though. It's every other day when I don't see a B/J vs. B/M bitchfest.

Where are these bitch-fests everyone mentions? I'm like right in the middle of the fandom and I never see a single sign of any of them ... hell, I've only even seen B/M shippers away from ATP like once... I keep wondering what I'm missing ...

No fandom beats the HP fandom, but given the 'topic' of QaF and the audience, it's easy to guess how wanky it can get. Not so much on LJ, because the fandom it's pretty fractured there and BMers are kinda rare.

A B/J x B/M wank is, like, a R/H x H/H wank. Only with more dirty words and name calling. The "all BJers are ugly dykes that can't get laid" thingy brings tears to my eyes every. time.

Oh, right. That was like, before it even started airing here, I think. I have honestly never seen shipper wars since I became involved like, three or four years ago, and yet everyone talks about them all the time, as if there's one going on in some corner of LJ right now, and I'm just missing it. Which wouldn't be unusual for me.

On topic, fuck_the_flames pretty much just sucks. Not even entertaining.

Well, I suppose I passed my judgement too easily on the whole of fandom based on a couple of bitchfests I've seen. Basically all I've seen is a few message board threads gathering evidence to support B/M, followed by a bit of "B/J is not TRU WUV, why can you not see that, you idiots?". And then a few rants by authors who've gotten flamed for writing B/J by B/M-obsessives...

I can't point you to any specific threads/LJ-posts as I don't exactly file them, as I'm not actively involved with the fandom anyway. Just watch the show and read a few fics every now and then.

Really small stuff to be honest, but some of the people just seemed stark raving mad with their obsession. Majority of the people I've seen/talked to have been really neat, normal people.

I'm a B/M fanatic and there are a LOT of us. However we are normal people who have lives and avoid B/Jers as much as possible. Why? Because we don't appreciate death threats, childish behavior and a LOT or virus attacks. I'm not exaggerating one little bit.

Do you know that the B/Jers threatened PFLAG because they didn't give their precious Randy an award?

My intension wasn't to trash supporters of either ship. I've ran into some crazy people in this fandom but like I said, majority (meaning people of both 'ship preferrations) have been normal, cool people.

Yeah, I don't hate Justin or Michael either. My preferred pairing is B/M (:O), but I don't hate anybody over it. I don't attack any one over it. I accept show canon.
