I think people are being too harsh on Fandom_Scruples. In this day and age, kids are being exposed to the dirtiest, nastiest images man or woman (mostly woman, I've noticed) can put on paper. In my youth, peer pressure and misinformation about sex came from my peers, people I actually knew by sight. In a few notable cases, I learned about sex from writing on truck-stop walls. I pity these poor children of the digital age who have to deal with peer pressure applied by complete strangers and conveyed directly into their heads by the burgeoning, overwhelming force of technology. Whereas I had to make do with old French copies of Elle and tawdry Judy Bloom books to discover what a breast was, now kids are finding out the hard way: by reading about a hobbit kissing another hobbit's manboobs.

So in the spirit of solidarity, I propose 10 Ideas for RealWorld_Scruples.

1) We should slap an NC-17 label on all guys named "Dick" and lock them in a special room. Outside the door, a bouncer will check ID's, and maybe there can also be one of those signs that say "You have to be [this high] to enter" too. Next, we'll go after girls with names that rhyme with female body parts (Seinfeld was my inspiration here) like "Regina," "Delores," "Madame Bovary," et al. Plus ones that can be associated with them, like "Kitty" and, for guys, "Mike Hunt."

2) Thanks to the Olympics, the issue of taking hormones is in the news lately. But we never hear about a positive possibility -- removing hormones from teenagers. Once they hit puberty, we should forcibly withdraw all hormonal substances from their body and keep them in a "Hormone Bank" until the kids reach 18, whereupon the hormones will then be returned to them. It can be like a graduation present, and let me tell you, getting your sex drive back will be way better than getting a new car.

3) We should sue God for giving young people sex drives way too early. I mean, it was obviously a manufacturing defect that has been propogated through several hundred thousand generations of the product. Not to mention he made them fucking anatomically-correct. That's not just shortsightedness, that's actually Divine malfeasance. What's to keep a 16 year old from accidentally touching him or herself and discovering that there's something going on down there?

4) The Stork Theory. Bring it back. Why in hell someone thought it would be a good idea to tell kids the truth, I'll never know, but if we brought it back, Fandom_Scruples would have a much easier time of it. For instance:

Draco sighed as Snape's warm fingers stroked his chest. The musk of the smoke from the braziers made him lightheaded, but his entire body tingled with sensation.
"Are you ready for it?" Snape's soft voice in his ear made him mad with desire.
"Yes," Draco replied. He'd never been more ready for anything in his life. He watched as Snape's wand rose up in anticipation.
"Okay, then, here it comes." Snape's wand darted forward. "Conjuris Storkis!"
A huge white stork appeared and flew out the window.
"Was it good for you?" Snape asked, shuddering slightly from the effort of working his magic.
"Oh yes! oh god yes!" Draco replied, and turned his head to stare out the open window from which their desires had taken flight.

5) Label all sexually-suggestive contents as such. For instance, if National Geographic has nude pictures, require that it be renamed "National Pornographic" for that issue. "Romeo and Juliet" should be called "Young Teen Lust" to warn off teenagers who might otherwise accidentally open that trash. The Bible should be called "Incest and Masturbation Chronicles with a Jesus-Freak Whore Later" And so on.
