This is one of those things I KNOW I should stay far away from, but I'll end up getting involved anyway.

I'll add that I now want to bear Percy_Weatherby's love child if that were possible.

And I loved the Bert/Ernie icon.

	Well, Erice is now the MAINTAINER of anti_yaoi and went back and deleted all of the "flames" (or, rather, any dissenting opinions in the community), so they're no longer to be found. Which just makes him wankier by the day, really. (Reply to this)(Parent)

	People with Diabetes and Congenital Adrenal Hypoplasia drink caffiene-free diet sodas. Cause, y'know, there are around 90 grams of sugar in a large mountain dew. Which really isn't healthy for anyone. That's why they make diet sodas. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Unfortunately, instead of just cutting the sugar in diet soda they just replace it with artificial sweetner that contains aspartame, which is much worse for you than the sugar. Glucose is bad for you in excessive amounts, but it isn't a neurotoxin. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Dude. I'm diabetic, and I like soda. I'd rather have a soda with aspartame in it than have a non-sugarfree soda and end up in bed feeling like I just got hit by a train for 24 hours.

I mean, I can understand not drinking soda at all, but the amount of sugar in say, a Mountain Dew isn't good for anyone. Besides, studies that have claimed artificial sweeteners cause cancer etc. have been proven mostly untrue.

But seriously, calling people wussies for not drinking non-diet pop is sorta like calling a lactose intolerant person a wussie for drinking soymilk.

Not trying to start an argument or anything, but I was sort of offended.
