It's her story, and if you don't like the way it's going, tough shit. Just because she doesn't indulge your silly fangirl fantasies where you "save Akito from himself and marry him" doesn't mean she's OMG EBIL!!! Sorry that she can't cater to your psychotic needs and tastes. But, for cryin' out loud, it's not a personal affront!

If you stepped back a little, you would notice that from a story-telling aspect it's very intriguing and interesting. Not anything incredibly new or shocking, but still helps change your perceptions of the character - which in and of itself is interesting. It challenges onself to ask that question why someone's gender should change your attitudes towards them...but I guess you're just too angry at the fact you'll never ride his imaginary cock that you can't see any of that.

Also minus 20 billion points for the bad fangirl Japanese name "Onna jannai!".

Because, of course, all series should be written FOR the fans, instead of because the creater has a story they want to tell. Artistic expression and all that mean nothing if it comes before pleasing the fans' masturbatory fantasies.

I mean, not that a little fan service isn't welcome, but really...shut up and deal if the series doesn't go how you like. Or stop reading. In fact, leave fandom altogether. Chances are, if you care this much, we don't want you anyway.

While, granted, their info page is astoundingly funny, they've not posted anything - which is why I hadn't posted anything about them. Technically, they're not really wanking that hard yet - I was gonna let them be for a few more days and see if they did anything interesting.

Although I'm still curious to see if anything comes of their 'revolution'. :P

Man, whoshername that writes Fruits Basket is a total genius. If I had a comic series, I'd do the same thing. After building up a story arc for weeks and weeks, I'd throw in a plot twist that would send the entire fandom into spasms of rage!

Then a while later, after all but the most lame dedicated naysayers got over it, I'd just do it again.

After all, as long as I never "sell out" and go "mainstream", they'll be loyal to me forever.
