Okay, aside from the obvious FICTIONAL CHARACTER HELLO, I could have sworn that I read somewhere that Rowling had placed Harry & Co.'s birthdates in the early 80s. Like '81 or so. In which case, Hermione would be 22 now.

You're right - the books take place in the early 90s. Hermione would be turning 24 this month. Were she, you know, REAL.

I'm putting my money on hoax/troll. In Hermione's bio information, he slipped in a definition of irony.

Yep. I'm fairly sure Harry was born in '81, making him my age-- just like Buffy & co and the Boy Meets World kids. Apparently 1981 was a good year for fictional birthdays.

At a glance, it's probably a spoof of those sites that had countdowns to the Olsen Twin's 18th birthday, or Lindsey Lohan's, or [insert lusted after teen movie princess here].

My favorite character in the Harry Potter books is definitely Hermione. I think that's because I can relate to her so well. She reminds me of me when I was a kid with long wavy shoulder-length hair, my hand always shooting up in class to answer whatever question the teacher might volley our way.

From his Information about Hermione page, in the middle of things like "Name: Hermione Granger, Age: x amount, Interests:..." etc, it says:
