I think it had a pretty accurate description on the back summary...
I guess I read them for the stories, not 'cause they were necessarily about vampires. *shrug* It was interesting, however out of the norm it was.
After that, though, the Anne Rice nutso machine truly began to seep into her work instead of just giving glimpses of itself.
